Joy radiates from Jesse and he fills the afternoon with his lively chatter. You ride on Sausage and he, Hewhay, around the farm, visiting the animals, and seeing the processing of the milk, butter and cheese, all done by modern machinery.  You love every minute, but feel exhausted on your return.  Fortunately, dinner is relaxing with Mary and her husband. He leaves to do a night check of the farm and Mary takes you through a large lounge to their cosy parlour. There in front of a blazing fire she asks about your life.  You tell her you wish you could stay here permanently.

Mary nods. “One day, as an adopted child of God, this will be your reality. As you seek Jesus, the Holy Spirit will develop in your heart, give you ears to hear and eyes to see.  Your faith is the key to believing and speaking into things not seen.  Jesus’ death caused the veil between the inner Temple and the Holy of Holies to be torn in two enabling us a deepening relationship to God and insight into His Kingdom.  When Jesus returns the veil then between heaven and earth will be fully removed, but until then we are here as God’s witnesses to cheer you on. You may not be aware of your accomplishments on earth, but you are in training for eternal life, faithfulness is always rewarded.”

“I am sure you will be led to people of like mind, but as good as their company may be, and as much as you reach out to others, it is your relationship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit that must first claim your attention. Now, you need to sleep, your rucksack is in your room and rest assured you are welcome here.”

Read:  “…we proclaim to you what we have seen and heard… so that we may share and enjoy this life together.”  1 John 1:3 (TPT)

Consider:    It is crucial to grow and establish your faith in the Lord by interacting with people of like mind.
