A year after your dream, you see in continually seeking the Lord He is transforming and using you to touch the lives of others. Despite your belief of having a heavenly portal where you review your dreams, gain fresh vision, truth and understanding, you long for more. Yet know the need of preparation if your seed of faith is to grow. Many heroes of faith spent their lives in preparation without seeing the fulfilment of God’s promises. A sudden urge fills you to go to the farm, if God met Adam and Eve in the garden, maybe you could catch the warmth of the sun’s meagre rays. On arrival, Jenny, Tony’s wife returning from the kitchen garden with a basket laden with winter vegetables walks over. Pointing to the wooden door in the wall she says, “The Lord said to expect you.” At your surprise, she chuckles, “You’ll see…” In the far corner, hedged by the tall wall and waist high laurel bushes the sun is shining on a wooden bench.
Seated, in lifting your face toward the sun’s warmth the golden glow and scent wafting by, brings memories of your heavenly anointing along with an awareness of God’ awesome Presence. Similar to a film you see Havej’s vineyard sloping upward through the trees to the house. The picture moves, takes you in and upstairs where newly decorated rooms are devoid of furniture. You are drawn to the windows. The east ones reveal a wide boundary of olive trees separating the house from fields of corn and wheat. The north has an extensive view across cliffs to a distant castle, and to the west an endless sea. Unseen activity fills the air. At ground level huge casks are filling with new wine. Below, in a tunnelled cellar racks are being filled with bottled wine. Steps down lead to a large cave where sacks of churned grain are stacked floor to ceiling. And again, another cave has boxes of small stones, beyond which an olive press is draining it’s oil into barrels.
A sea smelling breeze coming in breaths, carries the words, “These elements represent My life. I am in you, you are in Me. This is your harvest.” You have barely taken in the enormity of that when the breeze feels more forceful. “All of creation is waiting. It’s time. My people must take their place. Remain in Me. Wait for Me. The earth is being prepared for the greatest harvest. My Kingdom is coming.” A human voice breaks into your trance, you open your eyes, the sun has gone, and hurrying towards you is Jenny asking, “Are you alright, you’ve been out here for hours?”
Word: “Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus”. Phil 3: 12-14 (NIV)
